If you have questions or need any assistance, don't hesitate to reach out to any library employee.

Instructional Support

Our instruction librarians are experts in providing tailored research and information literacy instruction to your classes. We can also partner with you to create custom course pages, design assignments, and more.

Course Reserves

The library's course reserve service allows faculty to make course-related materials available to students, either electronically or at one of the library service desks. Items that may be on reserve for your class include: books, journal articles, textbooks, videos, and more.

Research Guides and Course Pages

Research Guides provide resources and information on a particular topic to help students do research in that subject area. Think: Biology.

Course Pages are created for a specific MC course in consultation with the faculty member so they can be completely tailored to your needs. Think: Comm 108, Prof. Jones.

Technology

We provide the latest technology to help you and your students succeed, including: Mac and PC computers with Office and Adobe programs, high-speed scanners, laptops and tablets available for students to borrow, One Button Studios for easy video creation, and Collaborative Workstations to aid with group projects.

RaptorSearch

RaptorSearch lets you search the MC Library Catalog and most of our databases at the same time. You can find articles, books, e-books, streaming videos, and more, all from a single search box.

Tutorials and Quizzes

You can assign your students to complete online tutorials and quizzes created by the MC librarians. The system can even send you an email with your students' results. Topics include academic integrity, avoiding plagiarism, citing sources, doing research, and more.
